Dr. Bohdan Kroczek is a Board Certified General Surgeon practicing in the Chicago area for over 25 years.
He completed his surgical residency training in New York and he is affiliated with Resurrection Hospital and Advance Ambulatory Surgery Center in Chicago.
Dr. Kroczek's passion for surgery is reflected in a wide variety of surgical procedures. He treats numerous diseases, focusing on surgical issues of the gastro-intestinal tract. Also, he performs gastroscopies and colonoscopies to screen for polyps and colorectal cancer - the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the country.
Additionally, Dr. Kroczek does a number of minor procedures in the office. He has significant experience in laparoscopic surgery of stomach and colon problems including cancer surgeries, gallbladder disease, abdominal and inguinal hernias, and appendicitis.
